Safety first!…oh who am I kidding, Coffee first, then customizing. Safety’s like 5th, but anyway…

How to Drill Apart a Diecast Car SAFELY

Being able to drill apart Hot Wheels and other branded diecast cars is one of the most fundamental processes when it comes to customising. And like any process, if you can figure out how to do it consistently and with confidence then you can stop worrying about it and focus on the other 700 processes that happen after you have completed said drilling. And this is where today’s little hack comes in – because with this little contraption you will not only speed up the process of drilling apart your Hot Wheels, you will also be able to do so with total confidence…

Extract from Video Description:

Once bitten twice shy… Or so they say. As a 3 year veteran of customising I know all too well how easy it is to accidentally drill into your own fingers… Especially when you encounter those goddamn plastic rivets that look metal!… So I created this ugly but effective little device so you can once again pull apart your hot wheels and drill out the rivets with confidence, knowing your precious hands are safe from the angry snarl of your drill or Dremel.

Hope this helps 🙂
