First of all, and this is mainly a note to self but, it’s NOT BELGIUM… I swear I thought it was until Bart aka @boostenboys sent me the details …. back in 2017!! Belgium Belgian Hot Wheels Day 2018

This year marked the second year that My Custom Hotwheels (hey that’s me!) was involved in this event and it has been my genuine pleasure to sponsor the custom contest and provide decals and 1:64 accessories to the winners and runners up of the various categories within the custom contest for the past two years. And this year was no different, with the winners from the MILD, WILD, and COMBO custom contests winning vouchers to spend on racing decals and 1/64 dioramas from my online store

This year however I was actually organised enough to contact Bart and get some pics from the event sent over so I could show you guys what we all missed out on. *I only missed out because I went to Belgium and not Belgian…but I digress 😀 Before I share all the pics (professional and otherwise) let me quickly share the winners of the custom competition categories – pics I stole from @boostenboys via Instagram 😀

Before I show you all the pics from what looked like a really fun day out for kids of all ages, allow me to share a custom created by the host and organiser, the afore mentioned Bart aka @Boostenboys – a most impressive piece that didn’t even get a look in for the WILD or COMBO categories. I say he was robbed, he’s too humble and will say it was just the luck of the drawer. That being said I guess it wouldn’t have looked good if an organiser placed in any of the contest categories…I’m looking at you Anthony @Tom7Woody_Custom_Hotwheels :p
