This isn’t about My Custom Hotwheels, it’s about Yours… and today it’s about a LOT of yours. Trust me when I tell you that THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC

Your Custom Hot Wheels Episode 20
This episode of Your Custom Hotwheels is 100% Instagram sourced and although I often say it is going to be epic, this particular episode is actually beyond epic – and that’s mainly thanks to you guys and the amazing work you have all been doing. I didn’t just use the MCH hashtag to find work this time, I searched high and low and followed profiles from comment threads and referrals from familiar names to find a whole sleuth of new amazing talent that I am super proud to share with you all today. There was so much talent in fact that I have sent out no less than three invitiations for some of these guys to be featured in my CUSTOMISER SPOTLIGHT category so that I can spend some time introducing their work to you and letting you know a little more about the man (or woman) behind the magic. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves because there’s over 220 images from more than 50 talented customisers to share with you today. Yep you read that correct – over 220 images of drool inducting customs from MILD to GTFO JUST STOP IT!
Oh and I’d also like to take this moment to thank everyone for jumping on board the #mycustomhotwheels hashtag – so much so that it has topped 30,000 uses and is almost at 32,000 as I write this
As always, these customs are in no particular order, in fact they are almost out of order because this episode features over 40 customisers some old and some new – with more than 220 images in total. Yep, today is a big one, so here’s hoping my web host can handle it
So without further ado I present to you the best that Instagram has to offer as well as more inspiration and drool inducing goodness than you’ll know what to do with. It should also be noted that MyCustomHotwheels takes no responsibility for damage done to keyboards or electronic devices as a result of excessive drool.
The Best 1:64 Scale Customs Instagram has to Offer
It goes without saying but be sure to follow these guys on Instagram so you can continue to be inspired and delighted by the work they are producing. And can I also take this moment to say how much I love this community! I don’t think I have met anyone who isn’t genuine and humble and just an all round legend I swear! It’s been a pleasure and an honour to watch everyone learn and grow together and, unlike the collector community which seems to full of douche bags and all round peanuts this customising world is only full of greatness!
Now let’s get into it shall we 😀
Was that an epic selection of custom goodness or was that an epic selection of custom goodness!!
Stay tuned over the coming weeks because a couple of the customisers featured in today’s episode will be making an appearance again as I shine the light on the extraordinary talent that exists in this customising game. That’s right guys, we got some killer customiser spotlight articles coming your way so don’t go anywhere!
Great stuff and ideas. Looking forward to the newsletters. THX.
BTW, have you seen any dioramas or a crashed race car on a transport? How do you bend and rip a medal Hotwheels model to mimic a wreck? Looking for a couple of examples.
I have actually – and from what I gather you would use a combination of vice grips/pliars and also placing the car in a vice itself and closing it on random parts to ‘crush’ certain aspects of the frame
I would love to know where all the great engines come from. I’ve been looking for some and they are hard to find.
check out the parts guide I recently published (link in sidebar)
ALso guys now in 2021 are 3D printing some amazingly detailed engines and selling them on various websites (search Instagram for suppliers)
