Welcome to what has to be the most delayed episode of Your Custom Hotwheels ever! I know I’ve been slack of late but I’m here now so quit your whining! :p
(if any of our regular readers would like to help collate the next Your Custom Hotwheels episode then shoot me a message to alex@mycustomhotwheels.com – I will pay you in decals and dioramas and you’ll get a shout out as well – win win really. *Seriously – I need all the help I can get here)
Every few weeks (or months as it were) the team here at MCH showcase the finest 1/64 scale customs found on Instagram and Facebook, collating them all into one article so you can get your monthly fix of custom hot wheels and diecast car porn all in one place. This isn’t about My Custom Hotwheels, it’s about Yours…
The Game Has Changed – But the Rules are the Same
One thing I can say is that it has been incredible to see the caliber of work that is now coming through Instagram and Facebook recently. The game truly has changed and with the addition of 3D printed parts and guys scratch building everything (I see you there Joel) the days of basic wheel swaps seem lost to us. While this may be the case, the rules of said game have definitely not changed and Your Custom Hotwheels will always be a section created for the people, by the people. Yes I will always continue to share the most incredible works from the top builders, but I will also include basic wheel swaps and repaint customs that I find appealing. This is because we all started somewhere and Your Custom Hotwheels is about including EVERYBODY IN THE GAME – regardless of what level you are at.
So with that in mind I present to you 100 or so of the latest creations that have made us go “Dayummmm” in some way shape or form. If you aren’t following these guys then head over to Instagram and ensure your feed is always full of 1:64 scale custom diecast goodness.
As usual these are in no particular order … in fact even the ones that should go together are jumbled up because my website hates me and insists on uploading the images in the most sporadically random way possible
Your Custom Hot Wheels – October edition.
*The majority of these customs were found using the hashtag #MyCustomHotwheels so be sure to tag your next creation and add to the 80,000 (and growing) already using this tag
I should also point out that whilst many of these are not customs, the photos and dioramas they were placed in were equally impressive and as such deserved a place here as well.
