We’re back baby! Finally now that I am back in the groove (of publishing content at least) it means we will be having regular episodes of Your Custom Hotwheels – the time when it’s not about My Custom Hotwheels, it’s about Yours – and boy have you guys and gals delivered!
We’ve already enjoyed the amazing custom work of Thomas Chu, and whilst I was initially going to include these diorama scenes in the same post, you’ll soon see (and hopefully agree) that they deserved their own post. Let’s get lost in his incredible 1:64 scale world…
Today we shine the spotlight on a customiser who is a fellow Aussie and creates some of the cleanest builds I have seen. He does not necessarily go all out with the crazy wide body kits or morphing 2 or more castings together because he relies on the clean lines of the casting combined with his amazing brush work, decal application skills, and wheel choices to bring out the best in each build.
Every few weeks (or months as it were) the team here at MCH showcase the finest 1/64 scale customs found on Instagram and Facebook, collating them all into one article so you can get your monthly fix of custom hot wheels and diecast car porn all in one place. This isn’t about My Custom Hotwheels, it’s about Yours…
Shining the Light on Extraordinary Talent in the 1/64 Scale Custom Diecast Community… Today we spotlight the talents of one Muhamad Eko Setiawan
Welcome to another episode of Your Custom Hotwheels, the fortnightly feature post that isn’t about My Custom Hot Wheels, it’s about yours.
Today however is a little different as I wanted to pay homage to all the amazing customs I have seen since that utilise the deliciously dope and characteristically cute ‘Manga Tuner’ Casting which was introduced to the Hot Wheels mainline line-up earlier this year.
Today we reintroduce the insanely talented Irwan, aka @RoyaleSyndicate and share some of his amazing work with you. But sharing his work is easy, Instagram does this every day which is why I wanted to get into the mind of this creative genius and get some insights into how he goes about creating these insanely detailed 1:64 scale diecast customs.
Today we shine the light on a fellow Australian customiser and a guy I have watched grow in leaps and bounds in a relatively short period of time. His name is Jade and he is not only a highly skilled customiser, he is also insanely creative. Add the fact that he’s a genuinely top bloke to the mix and you end up with a true customising triple threat…. in the best possible way of course. Let’s meet the man behind the customizing curtain….
