Today it is my great pleasure to introduce you to a customiser who’s builds are some of the most mind-blowing creations I have ever laid eyes on.
Although I’ve been slack of late with regards to bringing you regular customiser spotlight and Your Custom Hotwheels posts, I am about to more than make up for things by sharing the work of a true master craftsman, one Guillo Briceno.
Make yourself comfortable because there are a lot of amazing builds from @Guillo_Customs for you to enjoy. More than meets the eye in fact 😉
Meet Guillo Briceno aka @Guillo_Customs
Guillo has kindly answered my mini-interogation and provided us with an insight into the life and mind of the man behind these insane creations. Please enjoy (e)meeting Guillo and then feast your eyes on the banquet of epic deliciousness I have laid out before you*

How long have you been customising Hot Wheels and diecast cars?
I started into customizing Hot Wheels a couple of years after I started collecting Hot Wheels (1998) by then I was practicing only paint and started trying to turn panel trucks into pick ups, I got serious about customizing in 2006 after I got my first boneshaker and after my first son birth
How or What Got You Interested in Hot Wheels in the First Place?
the first thing that cught my attention was a poster back in 1998 with a sweet 16 II on it, by then I was just starting to study Graphic design
and when I saw that car was inspired, I decided to chase all the interesting cars I could find and especially that sweet 16 II
And How Long Before You Turned From Collector to Customiser?
I’m still both of them, in fact what I enjoy the most is to collect my own creations
Where do you call home?
I live in a small island in the Venezuelan shores called Margarita Island, it is a state of Venezuela
Can You Share a Little More About Yourself?
well, I like music a lot, (play guitar, compose my own songs that I guess nobody will hear ever LOL)
Im a family guy, love my son , I do love Maths, Logic, Physics, electronics and everything nerdy
also love tattoos, rock music, however sometimes I think is a cover since I am very sentimental and emotional
What is your favourite casting from Hot Wheels?
Used to be the Evil Weevil, Blown delivery took it out of its place, I love trucks like the thunder roller, convoy custom, kenworth…
What sort of customs do you like doing the most?
even thought I enjoy building some wicked car designs or mods I truly like to do transformers, each one has its own personality and it
reflects in the design (dont tell anybody but I do chat with them in the making process)
Do you have a Favorite Custom? Why?
I do, it is the Devastator from the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Movie. I cannot think of any other
that I have dedicated so much time and effort, In fact after almost 7 years I still keep adding parts and changing stuff to
Where and How can people see more of your work?
If people wants to see my customs in person I run a small store in Margarita Island called ABC Collectibles, if you ever come vist, just contact me and I will gladly display them for you
thanks again for the opportunity to share my things on your site, is truly an honor for me – Guillo Customs
And now be prepared to spend a good portion of the next half an hour with your jaw firmly dropped…
Custom Hot Wheels by Guillo Customs
Whilst the majority of these amazing builds do not actually transform per se, the following creations do!
Mind = Blown
Guillo’s favourite creations – and if I may remind everyone again what his reponse to the question was:
“I do, it is the Devastator from the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Movie. I cannot think of any other
that I have dedicated so much time and effort, In fact after almost 7 years I still keep adding parts and changing stuff to”
Here is what I can only assume is the ‘Devastator’ Creation as well as another similar transformer that is made up of multiple [construction] vehicles. Simply incredible – really!
The Wizard Takes Us Behind the Curtain…
Guillo has also shared some Work-In-Progress pics so we can get a little insight into the madness behind his method…. no wait – the method behind his madness. Actually looking at his creations I’m guessing a bit of both applies 😉
Here’s Bumblebee being built (say that 5 times fast!)
But Wait, There’s More!
Uh oh, Happy learned how to putt… Ok so that’s not really applicable or even relevant here but when I saw some of the ‘standard’ custom Hot Wheels builds he had put together I was like ‘Holy Shitballs – the guy can customise like a demon!’
See for yourself –
On behalf of all of us at MCH I would like to extend a massive thank you to Guillo for sharing his time and his amazing portfolio of work with us here today. At this point I usually ask/encourage you guys to follow the customiser in question on Instagram or wherever is applicable but in this instance I’m going to assume you are already all over it like stupid on George W 😉
