The Hellaflush Honda S2k Returns
I showed you this slightly customised Honda S2k mainline a few months back when I had just made the perfect set of custom Work Meister style wheels* for them. I was so pumped about how they looked that I never took the time to grind away the base to accomodate the extra width on my custom wheels and as a result had the worst mexiflush stance ever!
...like I said, the WORST mexiflush stance ever.
*To go back to the wheels, I realise they are 6 spoke and not 5 like work meisters but show me a wheel this represents closer and I will call it that. Until then the shine and depth of the dish combined with the concave and shape of the spokes is enough to convince me I'm making genuine (fake) mini version of the most awesome Work Meister wheel :p
I proceeded to cut the base away with a dremel until the wheels had enough space to sit inside the guards.
...I also decided to detail the interior slightly to match the Tein livery and custom green deep dish wheels.
Now I had HellaFlush!
Now she was looking much cleaner and I had finally rid this Honda S2000 of her mexiflush stance. Happy days 🙂
It's wonderful that Mr S2K finally has some decent fitment and is sitting hellaflush on her custom wheels, but without some decent negative camber she just looks well, sad 🙁
Something must be done!
In case you are wondering, to stance this Honda and create the negative camber you see I simply held the axle in pliers at each end (one end at a time obviously) and bent the wheel up slightly. I will cover the how to in more detail in an upcoming guide.
