Greetings my diecast brethren and welcome to another episode of 'Your Custom Hotwheels'
Today's YCH feature is dedicated to dioramas - the 1:64 scale diecast worlds that bring our Hot Wheels collections and custom creations to life.
Now I could have gone through Instagram and Facebook and simply shared with you the most amazing diorama setups I have seen but considering how many there are I decided instead to focus on 4 amazingly talented customisers who have turned their hand to the art of diorama building. These 4 talented individuals will be presented in no particular order, although I will be starting with a familiar face - a young man who needs no introduction here at MCH or on Instagram because he's (@Hotrod_)crazy about cars and just an all round nice guy. I'm talking of course about Gram Spina aka @HotRod_Crazy and it gives me great pleasure to (re)introduce his dioramas to the world.

Who Even Needs a Diorama?!
The following photos were taken by Gram and are stunning examples of how to use the real world to create your own amazing diorama like backdrops, because I mean, who even needs a diorama anyway GAWD 😉
You can see more of Gram's awesome diorama action on Instagram @HotRod_Crazy - and of course there are the following articles he has contributed here:
The Master Craftsman of 1:64 Buildings - Donz Genosa
No Diorama special would be complete without including the work of Donz. Not only does this man create some of the most amazing 1:64 scale dioramas you have ever seen, he also scratch builds EVERY SINGLE building and figure that you see.
So good is his work that he has been featured in two publications, one of which happens to be TOP GEAR Phillippines - and that's no mean feat!

Donz also featured in Car Culture Magazine - living the Scale-Model dream indeed
Donz also sells his diorama buildings but sadly due to shipping costs and the size of each creation it is out of reach for anyone outside of the Phillippines*
*I am constantly harrassing poor Mr Genosa and asking him to redesign his creations so they can be flatpacked and easily assembled at the other end and I of course will let all MCH members and subscribers know the moment they become available to the rest of the world 🙂
In the meantime please enjoy these amazing creations from Mr Donz Genosa - and if you want to see more of his work and enquire about your own purchases then visit his Facebook Page here -->

@Takupon0816 - Takuji - The Master of Scale Dioramas
When it comes to 1:64 scale dioramas there is only one name that comes to mind for me as the true master craftsman. That's a big call I know but I think you'll find it hard to disagree once you've seen his amazing work.
Takuji specialises in both 1:64 and 1:43 scale diorama action and what makes his work that much more amazing is the fact he combines his real life diorama scenes with clever photography and apps that create the feeling of movement and depth... but enough arty farty talk, let's see what all the fuss is about 🙂
Note that due to the high volume of amazing images on Takuji's Instagram feed @Takupon0816 I have provided 6 or so images per photo. Visit Takuji's Instagram feed for higher resolution images - and more of them.
Diorama's & Diecast Displays by Mark Vicker

Now THAT'S an impressive setup! Like, Whoa
I first came across this talented gentleman on Facebook and have been following his work ever since. Apart from being incredibly detailed and enjoyable to look at, Mark's dioramas provide endless inspiration for my own work and I'm sure inspire countless others to add to or start their own 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Diorama.
You can engage with Mark and the other 8000 or so diorama enthusiasts on his Facebook Group --> 1/64 Scale Dioramas & Displays Sponsored by Mark Vicker
And once again, although I have included a heap of amazing images from Mark's setup there are probably 1000 more, all of which can be viewed on his Facebook Albums HERE
Now allow me to share just a sample of some of Mark's incredible 1:64 scale diecast diorama
Fernando Miniaturas - The Town of Springfield
Did I say I was focusing on 4 diorama specialists? I mean't more than that - D'OH!
Speaking of D'OH, the following diorama creations have to be included in this post because they are perfect 1:64 scale replicas of a good portion of the Simpsons Town of Springfield!
The genius behind these creations is Fernando and you can find all of these incredible creations and more by visiting his Facebook page --> Fernando Miniaturas
And no I am sorry to report that these are not for sale - just something Fernando creates for the fun of it. Pity, but then you gotta respect that!
Last But (DEFINITELY) Not Least..
I thought I would share with you one final master craftsman - but this man is not just a master of dioramas but the, and I mean THE master of custom Hot Wheels and 1:64 scale diecast cars!
Pisut @Masanong - the True Master Craftsman
Pisut is a man who needs no introduction within the customising community, in fact he is the only customiser I know who's work is so admired by @Hotwheelsdreamteam - the very designers who make the cars we collect and customise. Now if that fact alone does not speak volumes for the level of skill this man possesses then nothing does. But not being content with amazing, Pisut has taken his insane creations and placed them in equally impressive 1:64 scale surroundings.
You can of course see more of Pisut's amazing work on Instagram @Masanong or via his dedicated Facebook page --> Hot Wheels and Die-Cast Car Custom by Pisut Masanong
Now if you could somehow manage to see PAST the insane customs on display you'll notice the diorama Pisut has built is rather remarkable
Inspired enough?
